Backpocket set (2) by Victor de Bie

Victor de Bie graduated in fashion design at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy in 2001. Enabling him to create his own world, his design drawings convinced him to switch to painting. While getting his inspiration from the 80’s and people like Magritte and Le Douanier Rousseau, he moved on to working on canvas. His work features a distinctive use of bright colors and often portrays characters reflecting a part of him. With his brother, photographer Wiglius, Victor is still working in fashion and experimenting with portraits.
