Boxies, as artist Boxie (Marco van Boxtel) calls his creatures, have elongated limbs and move quickly and fluidly over the canvas. Since 1992 his continuous work has resulted in an impressive oeuvre with numerous exhibitions and an increasing interest of the public as well as collectors. Did he first only wield the brush, later aerosol and felt-tips helped to bring his Boxies to perfection. On canvas, objects or walls, Boxie needs space to get rid of his bursting energy.
