In times when g-strings were still sold from under the counter, Marlies Dekkers first came to the attention of the world-at-large with the famous 'bare buttock dress' of her graduation show. Although Dutch women have always been supposed to “just be average, which is crazy enough”, she pursued her dream: till this very day she has been successfully designing her sort of lingerie: strong, sexy, self-aware, and with a perfect fit.
