Laura Breebaart, a student at the Royal Academy of Visual Arts in The Hague, is occupied with painting, drawing (past-up style) and modelling. She creates a surrealistic parallel universe, in which emotions are expressed either symbolically or metaphorically. This “world beyond what words can describe”, as she calls it, is inhabited by individuals with multiple emotions, since everything can be approached in a thousand ways, which leaves the agnostic in the dark.
